In keeping with the theme of Kodawari, relentlessly pursuing perfection while knowing that perfection is impossible and that the work itself is most crucial, we meet each month to study a book that invites growth, transformation, and fresh perspective into our lives. We start with 45 minutes spent in community discussion on insights and experiences as they pertain to the reading, followed by 45 minutes of breath and movement to ground the wisdom into our bodies. In this space, we meet at an intersection of intellect, intuition, and felt sensation to experience our yoga practice in an entirely new way.
